Spring is in the air at UCBR, and that means it’s time for one of our favorite traditions: the annual Plant Sale! Along the way, there are a few fun and creative opportunities to get involved—here’s everything coming up, in order.

Purchase a Peace Pole

Each year, our plant sale includes something handmade by members of the congregation. In the past, we’ve painted birdhouses and flowerpots. This year, we’re creating Peace Poles — decorated wooden posts designed to bring beauty to your outdoor space. Stop by the table at church to purchase one while supplies last, then take it home and make it your own.

Peace Pole Craft Day

Prefer to create in community? Join us at church from 1:30-4 p.m. on Sunday, April 12 for an afternoon of painting and decorating. We’ll have supplies available — just bring your Peace Pole and your creativity. Once you’re finished, you can either donate your pole to be sold at the plant sale or keep it if you fall in love with your creation.

Annual Plant Sale: May 2–3, 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. both days

Now for the main event! Join us for our annual Plant Sale and find the perfect additions for your home or garden, all while supporting the church. Alongside a wide variety of plants, you’ll also find the beautifully decorated Peace Poles created by our community, each one unique and full of personality.
