Throughout October, three different tracks of classes will be offered for adults each Sunday during Middle Hour from 10:15-11:15 a.m.
Room 5 – Faith in Practice – Check out PSTT! Parenting Support in Tumultuous Times. How do you answer kids’ questions? How do you help them stay stable and find joy? Discuss how to parent in a world that feels overwhelming.
Room 6 – Faith in Exploration – Start the month on Oct. 5 with our monthly Minster Meet and Greet. For the rest of the month, a three-part series titled “Intro to our Church” will be offered. Though it answers questions typically asked by newcomers to the Unitarian Church of Baton Rouge, it is open to everyone. Come to one, two or all three sessions to learn: What do we worship? What do we teach? Who makes things happen? Who we’ve been, who we are and how you can be part of us?
Room 7 – Faith in Action – This space is always reserved for our Social Justice Team and its subteams. Their rotating schedule features the subteam on climate on the first Sunday of each month, the subteam on voting on the second Sunday, the overall Social Justice Team meeting on the third Sunday and the reproductive justice subteam on the fourth Sunday.
