What are Branches groups?
Branches is UCBR’s primary small group ministry, with over 150 church members participating. Branches groups meet monthly for two hours, average 10-12 members, and are led by trained laypersons. This long-standing program provides a way for newcomers to feel a sense of belonging to the congregation and helps long-time church members to deepen their relationship to the church.
Want to learn more?
For three weeks in September during Middle Hour, the “Faith in Exploration” adult classes will be offering a Branches Sampler as a way to see what a Branches session is like. It will provide a great opportunity for those who are not yet members of a group to learn more and determine if it feels right for them. Feel free to stop by one, two or all three of the sessions that will be held from 10:15-11:15 a.m. on Sunday, Sept. 8, 15 and 22.
Anyone who is a member of the church may join a Branches group. We have options for meetings in-person, online or a combination of both! To request to join a Branches group, please email our Branches team at branches@unitarianbr.org.
