QUUeer Fête 2025 – Oct. 4: A Celebration of Music, Community and Joy

Mark your calendars for Saturday, October 4 — because QUUeer Fête is back and bigger than ever! This one-of-a-kind music festival is a joyful, family-friendly, alcohol-free celebration of queer culture and community. Doors open and dinner service starts at 4:30 p.m. The entertainment begins at 5:30 p.m.

This year’s lineup is stacked with talent. Our headliner, Crys Matthews, will bring her signature blend of powerful lyrics and soul-stirring melodies to the stage. The beloved Gais Do Do Band will keep the dance floor moving with Cajun rhythms, while Baton Rouge’s own Poet Laureate, Kalivyn Marquix, will lift voices and spirits with spoken word. And of course, no celebration is complete without sparkle — so get ready for show-stopping performances from our drag queens throughout the evening: Sa’Riyah Foxx Alexander, Myr’ahj S. Synclaire and Aariyah Sinclaire. Our evening will be supported by ASL interpreters from Deaf Focus.

But QUUeer Fête is more than the performances. It’s a space to gather, connect and grow. You’ll find a pop-up shop from Cavalier House Books, featuring titles that highlight queer voices and social justice. You’ll also be able to meet and connect with community organizations and resources, making it a festival that nourishes both heart and mind. And yes — there will be delicious food to keep you fueled while you dance, shop and celebrate.

Whether you’re coming for the music, the culture or simply the joy of being in community, QUUeer Fête is for everyone — LGBTQ+ folks, allies, families and friends alike. Bring your loved ones, bring your dancing shoes, and come be part of a night full of love, art and celebration.
