Social justice is at the heart of Unitarian Universalism. At the Unitarian Church of Baton Rouge, we put our principles into action through service projects and partnerships with community organizations. Known locally as “the church that shows up,” we are proud to stand for equality, justice and anti-oppression in Baton Rouge and beyond.
Join us every Sunday between the services during Middle Hour from 10:15-11:15 a.m. to find out what we’re working on locally and nationally. The main Social Justice Team meets every third Sunday of the month and our subteams on voting, reproductive justice, education and climate action meet on the other Sundays on a rotating schedule.
