A Full Day of Community: Sunday, May 17

Sunday, May 17 will be a full and meaningful day in the life of our church — one that reflects who we are at our best. From caring for others beyond our walls to gathering around the table together, the day offers many ways to connect, serve and belong.

8 a.m.–2 p.m., BLOOD DRIVE
Start the day by giving back. Our quarterly blood drive will take place in the church parking lot, where the blood bank bus will be on site throughout the morning and early afternoon. Donating blood is a simple yet powerful way to help others and is truly a priceless gift of life.

10:15 a.m., MIDDLE HOUR
Two Middle Hour options are available this week. You can join our Social Justice Team in Room 1 or check out the “Introduction to Our Faith” workshop being offered in Room 6. Or if a more casual Middle Hour sounds appealing, grab a cup of coffee and a snack and gather with others in the kitchen to socialize and enjoy each other’s company.

12:30–2 p.m., POTLUCK LUNCH
Following the second service, stay for a potluck lunch as we celebrate the close of the church year. Much like the rhythm of a school year, this is a time to pause, reflect and enjoy one another’s company before summer begins. Bring a dish to share, make new connections, reconnect with familiar faces and help us continue building a strong, vibrant community.

Whether you participate in one part of the day or all of it, we hope you’ll join us. Days like these remind us that community is something we create together.
