There’s always something new to explore during Middle Hour! Throughout October, the Social Justice Team and our Faith in Exploration classes will continue offering adult programming each Sunday from 10:15-11:15 a.m.

Whether you’re interested in learning more about issues affecting our community or digging deeper into our church, grab a cup of coffee and join us.

Faith in Action – Social Justice Team – Room 1

The Social Justice Team meets most Sundays with a rotating lineup of topics and guest speakers. From voting and reproductive rights to environmental and educational justice, these conversations offer opportunities to learn about issues affecting our community and discover ways to get involved locally and make a difference.

Faith in Exploration – Room 6

Oct. 4 – Meet the Minister: Start the month with a casual conversation with our minister. Grab your coffee, settle in and bring your questions as we chat about our church, our faith and more.

Oct. 11, 18 & 25 – Introduction to Our Church: Beginning Oct. 11, our three-part “Introduction to Our Church” series will take us through therest of the month. Designed especially for newcomers but open to everyone, the series explores the history of the Unitarian Church of Baton Rouge, how our congregation is structured today and how our church community works. Come for one session or join us for all three. There’s no need to be a newcomer to learn something new!
