Throughout February, our “Faith in Exploration” adult classes will offer a three-part workshop entitled “Introduction to Our Church.” The classes will be held in Room 6 during Middle Hour from 10:15-11:15 a.m. between the two Sunday services. They will be followed up in March with another series entitled “Introduction to Our Faith.”
This first three-part series will cover topics and questions often asked by those who are new to the Unitarian Church of Baton Rouge, but it is open to anyone who would like to attend. You are welcome to come to one, two or all three sessions.
Introduction to Our Church includes:
- Feb. 11 – Part 1: What do we worship? What do we teach?
- Feb. 18 – Part 2: Who makes things happen?
- Feb. 25 – Part 3: Who have we been? Who are we? How can you be a part of us?
The series will also be prefaced and followed with opportunities for a Minister Meet and Greet during Middle Hour on both Feb. 4 and March 3.
Stay tuned for the March four-part series, “Introduction to our Faith” which will focus on questions related to Unitarian-Universalism.
