UCBR is supported entirely through the generosity of its members and friends. Your gifts bring this congregation together and allow us to take a stand for justice, love, and peace. Below are many different ways that you can support your church and its mission.

Ways to Give

GivePlus App

You can use the GivePlus app for your mobile phone to set up recurring or one-time donations. This app is the smartphone wing of Vanco Services, which is our electronic donation processor.

Text to Donate

You can now give by text message. Text the word “assist” to 1-833-796-0353. If you’re a first time user, you will be prompted to create a profile, and then there are further prompts to complete the donation.

PayPal

You can use PayPal to create recurring or one-time donations, using your bank account, credit, or debit card. You can click the button below, or scan the QR code with your phone to use the Paypal app.

Electronic Donation Through Vanco Services

Using Vanco Services, you may set up one-time or monthly donations directly charged to your bank account or to your credit card. (If you donate by credit card, please consider donating an additional 3% to cover the bank charges.)

The first time you make a donation through Vanco Services, you may register and create a profile in order to save your information in a secure profile so that you can later review your online gifts, save time on re-entering information for your next donation, or to set up automatic recurring payments.

Check

Check contributions are made payable to: Unitarian Church of Baton Rouge. Please note the intended use in the memo: Annual Budget Pledge, Great Expectations Capital Fund, Green for Green, memorial gift, etc.

Cash on Sunday Morning

If you wish your contribution to be credited to your annual pledge or to a specific fund, please specify it as such. Every Sunday, we share our offering to benefit a cause outside of our church. We prioritize organizations that are working toward justice and peace, with an emphasis on local projects. Learn more about this program.
