Wednesday, May 14, 6-8 p.m. – Firepit Gathering – Need a social time to relax and connect with your community in this busy, stressful time? We’ve got you! Join us around the firepit for gourmet s’mores, laughter and camaraderie. Drop by after work or after choir. Stay as long as you’d like.
Sunday, May 18, 1-3 p.m., Gender Identity Workshop for Parents – Join church member and licensed clinical social worker Capi Landreneau for a parenting and gender workshop for UCBR families. Whether your child is questioning or you have questions, we’ll discuss how to respond and think about gender in an affirming way. Registration encouraged at https://forms.gle/EytZSMRZuLUJPsGH7 .
SUNDAY MIDDLE HOUR
Classes for all ages are held 10:15-11:15 a.m. every Sunday. Children and youth can gather for UU-based lessons and activities. Adults are invited to look for these three options: Faith in Action (social justice activities), Faith in Exploration (learn about Unitarian Universalism) and Faith in Practice (discuss spiritual practices of all kinds).

- Congregational Care Team – 6:30 p.m. – Second Tuesday/Odd Months – The CCT meets at church and via Zoom to provide care to people in the church community who are in crisis. (Also: July 8, Sept. 9, Nov. 11)

- Magical Spring Market – 10 a.m.-4 p.m. – Stop by the annual market hosted by Vaudeville Entertainment LLC on our campus. It is a gathering of magic makers and a showcase of spirituality. This FREE event features yoga, energy readings, workshops, food vendors, art vendors and more.

- MIDDLE HOUR: Q&A About the National Economy – Confused by the financial news? Jan Moller will join us to discuss. Jan is the executive director of Invest in Louisiana, a local think tank committed creating a state economy that puts the needs of Louisianans first.

- Interfaith Federation Spring Assembly – 2:30-4 p.m. – The Interfaith Federation Spring Assembly will be held at the Unified Synagogue, 3354 Kleinert Ave. It is open to all friends of the Federation and will be a time to reflect on the past and look to the future
